When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me wandering the country with my cameras. What started off as a vague interest as a child gradually turned in to two years of college and then, eventually, an obsession; hobby; a way of earning a few extra pennies… whatever you’d like to call it. I’ve always been more of an observer than a talker, and it goes without saying I’m happiest when I’m looking at the world through a lens.

Over the years I’ve accumulated a modest but, to me, beautiful collection of cameras. These days I do a lot of my “professional” work on a Canon EOS 40d, which really is quite fantastic, but I’m also a collector of vintage models and toy cameras. Below are some of my favourites.
